Nature-based Solutions (NbS) are essential for creating resilient urban systems that, in harmony with their surroundings, minimise their impacts and enhance their capacity to adapt to future climate scenarios.

The report analyses NbS as a climate change adaptation measure, outlines the existing programmes, plans and strategies, and presents a range of national and international reference experiences. It also examines the barriers to their implementation in the Spanish context and puts forward recommendations to help overcome them.
