The climate transition: an opportunity for the agrifood chain

The climate transition represents one of the greatest challenges—and also one of the greatest opportunities—for the agri-food value chain. In a context shaped by increasing regulatory pressure, evolving market demands and the need to strengthen the sector’s resilience, advancing towards more sustainable production models has become a key driver of competitiveness.

This event will bring together representatives from public authorities, farmers’ organisations, the food industry, financial institutions and leading experts to present the key findings of the report “Ideas for Action: Driving the Climate Transition of the Agri-food Value Chain” and discuss the measures needed to accelerate climate action across the entire value chain. Through two panel discussions, participants will explore the main challenges, opportunities and solutions to drive the sector’s transformation and position the climate transition as a catalyst for innovation, resilience and growth.
