Summary

This report is part of the ‘Ideas for Action’ series and compiles the main conclusions of the working group promoted by alinnea throughout 2024 to analyze the state of the agri-food value chain.

The report reflects the deliberations of this working group in its analysis of the agri-food chain as a whole—from the production and supply of inputs, through agriculture, livestock, industry, and distribution, to consumption—and its subsequent identification of barriers and proposed solutions for a fair and competitive climate transition, aligned with the objectives of the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC).

The participation of the entities does not necessarily imply their adherence, in the form of specific commitments, to the ideas presented in the final document.
